About the Scholarship

Since 2010, the Henry Gallons Scholarship has been a beacon of opportunity for high school seniors in Clayton County.

Awarding $1,500 annually, this scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving students, helping them pursue higher education and build brighter futures.

To date, 14 student have benefited from this scholarship, carrying forward the legacy of Henry Gallons through their academic and professional achievements.The Henry Gallons Scholarship was established to continue the mission of investing in the educational success of students in Clayton County.

Unlike a last-dollar scholarship, this award provides direct financial support to students as they embark on their higher education journey, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.

This scholarship is named after Henry Gallons, a passionate advocate for education in the African American community.
